Workshop Summary

While many of us set intentions at the beginning of the calendar year, traditions around the world recognize the Spring Equinox as the true new year, a time aligned with nature’s renewal. This is a beautiful moment to honor the earth’s rebirth and reflect on what is ready to bloom in our own lives.

Mama Cacao supports us in celebrating this seasonal turning through inner and outer cleansing, creating a spring altar, and planting seeds of intention. Together, we will honor this time of renewal and welcome back the light.

Join Coach Lindsay Calliandra Rose and a circle of like hearted community members for a Spring Equinox ritual with Cacao. Why Cacao? She supports focus and clarity while helping us connect deeply to what we are calling in. When we truly feel our intentions in our hearts, when we embody what it will feel like to live them, they become more powerful and alive.

As a gentle yet activating heart opener, Cacao helps us connect to our truth, creativity, and inner light. She nourishes, regenerates, and empowers us as we move out of winter and into a new season of growth.

THE PROCESS

We will begin with an opening welcome and a brief introduction to cacao and the ritual process. Together, we will explore traditions from around the world that honor the equinox and discover the shared themes and symbols of this sacred seasonal shift. We will also connect with a few goddess archetypes whose energy aligns with this time of fertility and renewal.

After sharing a few sips of cacao, we will move into a cleansing ritual inspired by seasonal clearing practices found in many cultures. We will also prepare a space for your spring altar.

Next, we will decorate hard boiled eggs to symbolize fertility and what we wish to nurture in our lives. From there, we will plant seeds as a physical representation of our intentions, using the fertile energy we have cultivated to support their growth.

Throughout the workshop, you will be guided through creative and heart centered practices and given time to complete each activity. We will close by sharing reflections, speaking our intentions aloud to strengthen them, and choosing one aligned action step to support our main intention.

We will end in gratitude for Cacao, for our community, and for the courage to consciously create the year ahead.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

A cup of ceremonial cacao
A notebook and pen
A candle for our sacred fire
A smudge stick, mapacho, feather, or small broom to clear what you are releasing
One hard boiled egg and decorating supplies such as markers or paint
A small space, ideally in sunlight, for your spring altar
A plant pot with soil and seeds of your choice or a small bowl with soil and a symbolic seed such as corn or beans
