Refund & Cancellation Policy

RETREATS

To book a PMP retreat, you first submit a retreat application using the link found directly in the retreat description webpage.

DEPOSIT

Once your retreat application is approved (within approximately 24 hours) you will receive a link to pay your deposit to reserve your spot in the retreat. The deposit amount will be approximately one-third of the full retreat cost.

Note: We strongly recommend that you DO NOT book any travel arrangements until the screening and preparation consultation is complete.

SCREENING AND PREPARATION CONSULTATION

Once your deposit has been paid, you will receive a link to schedule your 30-minute screening and preparation consultation. PMP reserves the right to determine if, for any reason, it is not safe for you to attend the retreat after having the screening and preparation consultation. In this case, PMP will process a full refund of your deposit (no administration fee).

60 DAYS BEFORE RETREAT

Full balance is due 60 days prior to the retreat start. During this time, you may also decide to cancel your reservation. If your balance has been paid, we will issue you a full refund (minus a $50 administration fee and any non-refundable transactional fees). To pay the balance due, we will provide you the amount, due date, and a link to make the payment. Please note, if the balance is not paid within 2 weeks of notification, PMP reserves the right to cancel your reservation and refund your deposit (minus the $50 administration fee and any non-refundable transactional fees).

45 -60 DAYS BEFORE RETREAT

If you decide to cancel your retreat reservation anytime between 45-60 days prior to event start, PMP will hold your deposit to be used for a future PMP retreat, booked within 18 months, and refund the remainder of your balance, (minus a $50 administration fee and any non-refundable transactional fees).

30-45 DAYS BEFORE RETREAT

Cancelling a reservation 30-45 days before the retreat forfeits 50% of the amount of the retreat.  The remainder of your balance will be held and can be used for another retreat within 18 months from the date of cancellation.

0-30 DAYS BEFORE RETREAT

Within 30 days of the retreat departure, all payments, including deposits, are non-refundable.

COVID-19 POLICY

If you must cancel your reservation at any time due to testing positive for COVID-19 (symptomatic or asymptomatic) or have been in close contact with a person who has tested positive for COVID-19 and must quarantine, please provide proof (positive COVID-19 test results) to PMP and we will gladly hold your balance for another retreat, to be booked within 18 months.

We strongly recommend attendees purchase travel medical and/or trip cancellation insurance. Some of the most popular travel insurance providers are Allianz, GeoBlue and Travel Guard. Your credit card or employer may also provide certain coverage.

DISCLAIMER

The Plant Medicine People’s (PMP) liability shall extend only to repayment or moving the retreat to a different date/on funds actually received, and shall not extend to indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages or expenses including but not limited to travel expenses and losses.

COACHING

All Plant Medicine People coaching sessions (with any available coach) and coaching packages are non-refundable. Coaches may agree to transfer coaching sessions to other individuals on a case by case basis. Appointments can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before the appointment — attempts to reschedule with less than 24 hour notice may result in a partial or complete loss of the session cost (this is left up to the discretion of each coach on a case by case basis.) All coaching packages are tied specifically to the coach named, and cannot be mixed with appointments from other coaches. Coaching packages expire 1 year after the purchase date.

COURSES

All course purchases are non-refundable, however they may be transferred to the same course type offered at different times in the year. Courses can only be moved to the exact same future offering for the same participant - they are non-transferable.
