Ayahuasca and Blue Lotus Mystery School Retreat

Retreat Summary

Reawaken your connection to the most divine mysteries our consciousness has access to, via the consumption of two powerful sacraments: Ayahuasca and Blue Lotus. This retreat features 3 ceremonies with each plant (6 ceremonies total), daily workshops, integration support, as well as shamanic initiations, healing on all levels, and incredible personal empowerment.

November 1st-9th, 2024

Ayahuasca is having a massive renaissance as a sacrament of awakening right now, but the original elixir for initiation into the mysteries of consciousness was Blue Lotus, Nymphaea nouchali (real name Blue Water Lily.) These two divine femimine powerhouses are each Master Teachers, paths of awakening, consciousness-expanders, and unspeakably powerful allies. This retreat will honor both of these beauties, via ceremonial work with each plant brew (3 with Ayahuasca and 3 with Blue Water Lily), as well as a final dance with Mama Cacao. We will also feature daily workshops meant to invoke the practices of the ancient Mystery Schools. Each pasajero (passenger / participant) will experience personal expansion and empowerment, a more expanded view of themselves and the world, and a deeper sense of knowing regarding your superpowers and divine purpose. This is a once-in-a-lifetime retreat, and unlike anything we’ve ever offered previously!

$3450 for a Shared luxury tent
$4550 for a Private luxury tent

+ $250 In-Person Cash Payment for Medicines (one time fee includes all plant medicines and sacraments)

We had a fabulous time. The retreat is very special: The quality of food, level of service, accommodation and resources were exceptional. The staff were always smiling while working hard around the clock and being of service to us, we are forever grateful to them. As for PMP, I have no words. Kat and her team are rockstars. They made this retreat very special, with their love, humility, service and affection. Thank you Kat, Silvia, Neil and Maureen for all your work.

Transportation, Schedule and Registration

Getting to Santa Elana, Costa Rica

The retreat price is all-inclusive outside of air travel and a single night accommodation at a hotel in San Jose our first night of the adventure (plus in-person cash fee for medicines). We will procure a group rate for the hotel so that we can all leave together in the AM for our retreat home. Participants will fly into the San Jose, Costa Rica airport anytime on November 1st. We will then provide transportation to the retreat at 8 am on day two (November 2nd) via a luxury shuttle. We also provide transportation back to the San Jose airport on the last day of the retreat. Please do not book your plane travel until after your application has been accepted.

Schedule

DAY 1 (November 1st) - All participants will arrive at any time to the San Jose, Costa Rica airport. You'll procure your own transportation (cabs are inexpensive) to a local hotel; we will reserve a discounted block of rooms and share the location with each participant. Everyone is encouraged to get a good night's sleep, as the shuttle leaves at 8 am the next morning from the hotel.

DAY 2 (November 2nd) - The shuttle will leave the hotel at 8 am with all participants - it's about a 3.5 hour drive to our gorgeous sanctuary. Upon arrival, everyone will check in and receive a tour of the retreat, as well as access to their assigned tents. We will then have a light, nutritious lunch, and gather together for our opening talking circle. We'll get to know each other, discuss the format of the retreat, meet our Maestras, and connect with the land, asking for permission to do our sacred work. That evening, the first Blue Water Lily ceremony will commence.

DAY 3 (November 3rd) - After breakfast, the first Temazcal ceremony is offered for group 1, while group 2 will take a walk to a nearby waterfall. We will enjoy lunch, and then connect as a tribe to prepare for the first Ayahuasca ceremony, which happens later in the evening. After the Ayahuasca circle is closed, we will light a spirit fire and invite folks to end the night in the vibration of this magical element.

DAY 4 (November 4th) - After breakfast, we will offer delicious flower baths, working with our intentions and connecting with the land. We’ll then have a guided meditation and integration circle, and then a workshop that evening with Blue Water Lily, our first initiation into a re-connection with the mysteries.

DAY 5 (November 5th) - The second Temazcal and waterfall walk is offered after breakfast, and then later in the afternoon, we will have a talking circle and preparation for our second Ayahuasca ceremony that evening.

DAY 6 (November 6th) - After breakfast and morning flower baths, we’ll have a lovely lunch, and then we will have an integration circle and give more language to the magic that is transpiring. After dinner, our final ceremony with Blue Water Lily will occur, which will continue into our dream space.

DAY 7 (November 7th) - Breakfast, a morning guided meditation, and gentle movement will begin our days, and then after lunch, we will meet as a tribe to ground in strong intentions for our final ceremony with Ayahuasca that evening.

DAY 8 (November 8th) - On our last day as a familia; we will have a celebration with Mama Cacao. Then we will give back to the land in a beautiful tree planting ceremony. A final workshop will occur in the afternoon, followed by a big dinner celebration and fire ceremony!

DAY 9 (November 9th) - After a final breakfast and a chance to honor the incredible retreat staff, we will hop on a shuttle back to the San Jose airport. We encourage everyone to book flights home no earlier than 2:30 pm local time to ensure plenty of time to make our flights. For those that want to explore Costa Rica further, we are happy to offer suggestions and assist with transportation.

More Past Retreat Testimonials

From start to finish, the Retreat to Costa Rica was absolutely flawless! So organized and well thought out. The level of service from the transport, the staff at the retreat and (of course) the facilitators of the retreat - was by far the best I’ve ever been held by such loving efforts. The bar has been raised in my world! Can’t wait to work with them again one day.

This was a life changing & transformative retreat. It was an amazing blend of the four elements, Nature and plants in a supportive, beautiful, nurturing setting. All of the PMP guides were magical and amazing in their own ways. I will definitely return for many more retreats with this group and in this setting.

- Camille H, Nov 2023 pasajero

The staff, facilities, and organized activities all contributed to a beautiful, life-altering experience and celebration of all things beautiful. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Thank you!

- Doug L, UT, Nov 2022 pasajero

What a beautiful experience. Kat and the other facilitators are so wise and knowledgeable about medicine and energy, and held a beautiful container for deep medicine work. The retreat center is perfect for the experience--delicious ceremony appropriate food, nice accommodations, friendly staff, beautiful grounds, a river flowing through the site. I am grateful for everything about the trip. Thank you!

- Jodie N, Nov 2023 pasajero

This was the bravest, most radical experience I have yet to encounter, but it was so badly needed for my continuing evolution in this lifetime. EVERYTHING was enriching and amazing! The leaders were candid and non-judgmental; always open to enhance our journey to its highest level. Ever attendee who joined in this experience was loving, kind and supportive. The grounds were tranquil and beautifully landscaped. The food was delicious, interesting and healthy. The staff at Kinkara was warm and accommodating. I pray for the forward movement that ALL can openly experience plant medicine without political or governmental interference. I’m certain there would be much less stress or fear in our world if we were free to allow the gifts from Mother Earth to heal our bodies, minds and souls. I am sending continued love, peace and joy to all those who travel along this path.

-Joyce S, Nov 2022 pasajero

Best plant medicine trip of my life! So much love, growth and connection. We were in great hands from beginning to start. Can’t wait for my next trip with PMP!!

- Jose L, Nov 2023 pasajero

I loved my retreat with Plant Medicine People! The accommodations were wonderful. Food was amazing. I felt safe and supported at all times. There were multiple leaders available for help, and the participants were all wonderful people I'm happy to have met. I'm not an experienced international traveller, but PMP made it easy. Book with confidence!
