Rooted in Amazonian shamanic traditions, this practice facilitates a deep connection with plant spirits and has sparked enthusiasm and inspiration worldwide. A Master Plant Dieta is a truly magical experience, accessible to individuals from all backgrounds. Whether you’re new to this journey or have completed several dietas, you’re invited to connect with a powerful Master Plant and share this unique experience with a small group of fellow plant enthusiasts.

Shamanic guide Kat Courtney will lead an intimate group of plant-lovers in this month-long exploration of one of the most controversial yet beloved plants in the entire world: Stimulating, nurturing, and clarifying Coffee! The humble coffee bean has a rich spiritual and cultural history dating back centuries. Originating in Ethiopia, it is believed that the discovery of Coffee's stimulating effects was linked to spiritual practices among monks and tribes, who used it to stay awake during long prayers and meditation. In Yemen, coffee became integral to Sufi religious rituals, helping monks stay alert during prayer and spiritual ceremonies. The beverage spread across the Islamic world, often associated with social and spiritual gatherings, symbolizing awakening, contemplation, and community bonding. Throughout history, coffee has been seen as a catalyst for spiritual awakening, meditation, and social connection in various cultures.

We will be working with Coffee arabica, and it’s essential that we carefully choose the source of our beans. We recommend you source two types of Coffee:

1) Green coffee beans (organic): These are not roasted and minimally processed; considered healthier and more aligned with the natural spirit of the plant. We will provide some favorite sources when you register.

2) Roasted coffee beans: A single origin, certified organic, light-roasted coffee bean that is ideally purchased online, roasted, and then sent to your home, to guarantee freshness and spiritual integrity. If possible, we recommend you work with the whole bean, and grind it before consumption. We will share some favorites here too if you need them!

Here’s how the process will work: Beginning on or around Friday, November 28th, 2025 Kat will schedule individual dieta openings with each participant, which happens through the power of song + intention. The group will meet for 5 total Fridays via Zoom, discussing the experience and sharing insights. We will provide a protocol document outlining food instructions and specific wisdom on how to work with Coffee as well, including the suggested recipe for brewing both versions, as well as creative ways to connect with him that doesn’t involve over-stimulation. In addition to only eating clean, organic, simple foods, we will all abstain from sexual activities, media, dark energies, and other distractions for the duration of the 3 weeks, and each Friday at 7 am PT / 10 am ET we will meet on Zoom to connect, share stories, and learn more about the gifts Coffee has to offer through our vulnerable shares. Kat will hold the diets for all participants, checking in on the connection and listening for messages each morning and night. She will be also be available throughout the process for spontaneous support as needed, because we intend to go deep with this adventure! Diets will be closed individually on or about Friday, December18th, 2025.—just in time for holiday festivities. The final session on December 26th is for integration.

Coffee’s Diverse Benefits

The beloved coffee bean is a source of enormous comfort for millions for people, but he can also over-stimulate and cause discomfort and challenges if overused. He is a master teacher in that he demands moderation and awareness of our sensitivities, or his medicine can feel more like poison. So we will be very mindful in this dieta; very intentional, and creative in the different ways we can work with him without becoming over-stimulated. Part of that will be through working with green, un-roasted beans, and part of that will be achieved through careful intention and small dosages. Here are some of coffee’s greatest benefits!

The Diet itself lasts 3 weeks total, with an additional session 1 week later for integration.

Friday December 12th - Second session during dieta full of deep revelations (90 mins)

Friday December 19th - Dieta closes, final reflections of our plant portals (90 mins)

Friday December 26th - Integration session (90 mins)
