Jungle Master Plant Dieta and Ayahuasca Retreat

Retreat Summary

MERGE WITH A JUNGLE TEACHER PLANT IN A TRADITIONAL AMAZONIAN MASTER PLANT DIETA AND AYAHUASCA RETREAT

July 5th-13th, 2024

There is nothing more life-changing than a traditional Amazonian Master Plant Dieta, combined with the magic of Ayahuasca. If you want the deepest experience available in the Plant Medicine space, this is IT. We practice this ancient tradition with tremendous love and reverence; our shamanic team has decades of experiences, and this is an indigenous-led experience with a Maestro from the Mestizo tradition. This Master Plant Dieta features a choice of many magical jungle masters, including Mapacho/Sacred Tobacco, Bobinsana, Chuchuasi, Ajo Sacha, Remo Caspi, Renaquilla, Marosa, and many other profoundly healing options. Participants will be each paired with a personally selected jungle master, co-selected by each individual and our magnificent Maestro and Maestra.

All PMP retreats are fully focused on safety and the creation of a beautifully healing container. This adventure includes 3 deep and transforming ceremonies with Mother Ayahuasca, daily work with the selected Master Plant, daily offerings with Rapéh, as well as waterfall walks, a traditional Temazcal (sweat lodge) ceremony, a final celebration with Ceremonial Cacao, a tree planting ceremony to give back to the land, and so much more! We create a truly safe and nurturing container so you can let go and explore your psyche and heal your body and spirit. Price includes preparation support and 4 weeks of integration as well!

$3400 for a Shared tent
$4500 for a Private tent

$200 cash for plant medicines (One time in-person fee for ALL medicines)

Getting to Santa Elana, Costa Rica

Participants will fly into the San Jose, Costa Rica airport on Friday, July 5th, 2024, and stay one night at a gorgeous hotel near the airport. We will be procuring a discounted group rate to be shared with each participant. We will provide transportation to / from the retreat via group shuttles that leave on the morning of the 6th for our retreat destination. Please do not book your plane travel until after your application has been accepted, thank you!

Schedule

DAY 1 (July 5th) - Arrival at any time during the day or evening in San Jose, Costa Rica. We have reserved a block of rooms in a local lovely hotel (not included in retreat cost), but you can stay anywhere you choose in the San Jose vicinity. The shuttle to the retreat location will leave at 8 am the next morning at our selected hotel.

DAY 2 (July 6th) - Arrival and acclimation to our heavenly tropical location. We will connect with the land, ask permission for the local spirits to work with us, and set our intentions for our experience, as well as get to know each other a bit. Ceremony facilitators will talk through the ceremony process with the group; we will get to know each other, share our intentions, and then the maestros will open each participant's dieta in a mini-ceremony (no Plant Medicine the first evening so we can ground in.)

DAY 3 (July 7th) - After a delicious breakfast, the day will also include flower baths, the first Temazcal ceremony and waterfall hike, talking circles to lay the groundwork for the first Ayahuasca ceremony, and healthy, grounding lunch. We will then do one on one interviews with each participant, and have the first Ayahuasca ceremony that evening.

DAY 4 (July 8th) - After breakfast we will offer Flower Baths, nature walks, massages, and some down time to integrate the ceremony experience. After lunch, we will meet for ain integration circle. A delicious grounding dinner will lead to a fire ceremony so we can begin to release the layers that the medicines are dislodging. This is a fantastic day to go deep with your Master Plant.

DAY 5 (July 9th) - The second Temezcal/Waterfall walk happens in the AM post-breakfast, then we will have a big supportive lunch, flower baths, one on one interviews, and we will teach everyone a magical Icaro to sing as a community later in the week. The second Ayahuasca ceremony will take place that evening.

DAY 6 (July 10th) - NOBLE SILENCE DAY - This day is all above a profound connection to our Master Plants. We will awake and honor noble silence all day - have a quiet contemplative morning, eat our two meals in silence, enjoy meditative flower baths, and prepare for the final Ayahuasca ceremony that evening. At the end of the Ayahuasca ceremony, we will break Noble Silence by inviting everyone to sing the Icaro we learned the day before. A bon fire will gather all those who wish to use their voices so we can talk about what's been transpiring.

DAY 7 (July 11th) - The last day in the dieta portals, participants will have lots of time to connect with the land and their master plants. We will have two powerful integration workshops, 3 organic meals, and we will close each dieta portal throughout the day.

DAY 8 (July 12th) - Our last full day as a tribe will be spent in celebration; after a light breakfast we will connect with Mama Cacao in an authentic ceremony portal, as well as an afternoon tree planting ceremony to give back to the beautiful land. We will also have a big  feast and fireside connection with music and laughter that evening.

DAY 9 (July 13th) - We will enjoy breakfast together one last time and hop on our early morning shuttles to the San Jose airport. Flights leaving early afternoon from 2:30 pm on are recommended.

Retreat Facilitators

This entire retreat is led by a very special indigenous Maestro from the Peruvian Amazon, trained in the Mestizo tradition, by Jose Campos and Pablo Amaringo. We will have multiple deeply compassionate and trauma-informed assistants, including PMP CEO and Head Coach Kat Courtney, with a small participant-to-staff ratio for intimacy, safety, and a deliciously deep healing.

The retreat price is all-inclusive outside of air travel, $200 in-person cash payment for plant medicines (all are included in the single cash payment), and a single night stay at a hotel in San Jose.

More Testimonials From Past Retreats

I loved my retreat with Plant Medicine People! The accommodations were wonderful. Food was amazing. I felt safe and supported at all times. There were multiple leaders available for help, and the participants were all wonderful people I'm happy to have met. I'm not an experienced international traveller, but PMP made it easy. Book with confidence!

This was the bravest, most radical experience I have yet to encounter, but it was so badly needed for my continuing evolution in this lifetime. EVERYTHING was enriching and amazing! The leaders were candid and non-judgmental; always open to enhance our journey to its highest level. Ever attendee who joined in this experience was loving, kind and supportive. The grounds were tranquil and beautifully landscaped. The food was delicious, interesting and healthy. The staff was warm and accommodating. I pray for the forward movement that ALL can openly experience plant medicine without political or governmental interference. I’m certain there would be much less stress or fear in our world if we were free to allow the gifts from Mother Earth to heal our bodies, minds and souls. I am sending continued love, peace and joy to all those who travel along this path.

- Joyce Smith, NV, Nov 2022 Participant

The staff, facilities, and organized activities all contributed to a beautiful, life-altering experience and celebration of all things beautiful. I couldn’t recommend it enough. Thank you!

I am eternally thankful to everyone involved in this journey! I did hardly ANY research, I just trusted the call and dove in head first. If not for someone close to my heart I would never have done this. Every time I think I'm doing an experience for someone else, I find that I get WAY more out of it myself than I realized I needed. I can be skeptical at times and my skepticism gets peeled away one layer at a time, while MamaAya shredded the remainder of the layers away! I feel renewed, refreshed, and recentered. Thank you Kat and Laura for handling everything and making this experience absolute magic! The food was absolutely incredible! If a cookbook is in the future, you can count me in for that(). Thank you all for being so kind and gentle. I absolutely LOVE huachuma! I felt so comforted and joyful, I had the best, big belly laughs. The breath work was perfect for me as I get some panic attacks with hyperventilating and I think this will help me immensely! Thank you to the guardians for your kindness and patience, you were ALWAYS there for us. You always seemed to know what we needed. This journey was more meaningful than I can express in a single review, but just know that if it calls for you, then do it! If the idea of purging stops you from this experience, maybe you're not ready. But just know that purging was freeing and it absolutely should not stop you from this. In the grand scheme, the benefits far outweigh any discomfort. The support is incredible. I'm in awe of everyone involved. Thank you so much for sharing this journey with me!
